Languages in which Pokémon cards are printed
Almost all Pokémon sets are printed in English and/or Japanese. The Pokémon Company International usually also prints translations in German, French, and Italian. In addition, there are translations for Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, and Korean, among others. Korean cards are often the same as the Japanese sets or a mix of different sets. There have been individual sets in other languages such as Chinese, Dutch, and Polish.
Translation of Pokémon Names
All Pokémon have a Japanese name and an often fundamentally different English name. Some languages like Italian and Spanish generally adopt the English name, while German, South Korean, and French mostly have their own names for Pokémon. This can be a slight alteration of the English name for easier pronunciation, a translation of the often pun-related name, or even a completely different meaning. In some languages, especially those with a different alphabet than English, the English name is translated 1:1. These include Hindi, Hebrew, and Bulgarian. Thai translates the Japanese name.
